2010 Annual Conference & Meeting: Evidence and the “NEW” Policy Evaluation: Frontiers for Benefit-Cost Analysis

Thank You for Making Our Annual Meeting a Success

Thank you to all who attended Evidence and the “NEW” Policy Evaluation: Frontiers for Benefit-Cost Analysis, the third annual meeting and conference of the Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis (the "Society"), on October 19–20, 2010 in Washington, D.C.

The conference generated much interest, and attendees included leaders, lawyers, government officials, students, academics, and MD’s from all over the world. The feedback we received from participants indicates that the conference was quite successful.

Presenters for 12 panels shared cutting-edge scholarship on a wide range of interesting topics, including valuation issues, health interventions in developing countries, developing countries, delivering results, alternative approaches, environment, transportation, discount rates, regulatory evaluations, social sector initiatives, and institutionalization of benefit-cost analysis in governments.

Again, thank you for joining us.
