Request for Proposals for Administrative Services to Support the SBCA

The Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis (SBCA) seeks the services of a firm, institution, or organization to provide administrative support and coordination for its administrative operations, including but not limited to: membership recordkeeping and maintenance; annual conference, workshops and other meetings; coordination with the Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis; development activities; and other mutually agreed upon tasks.

We are committed to growing the Society in terms of its membership, conference attendance, and overall influence on benefit-cost analysis. We plan to pursue this mission throughout the world, although our current activities focus predominantly on the United States and Europe. We look for a management organization that will help us pursue our mission and planned growth.

Offerors should provide a proposed budget to conduct the work for three years. The budget should cover the costs of the executive director and the provision of basic supports and show the projected costs for each year. The budget should not include any costs for the JBCA editorial office and publisher or external expenses for the SBCA annual meeting.

Potential offerors should address questions to Dr. Thornton. We expect to announce a final decision before August 31, 2017. We anticipate awarding a fixed-price contract for the work, which will begin on January 1, 2018.
